The Karen L. Mosseau Fund
Karen Mosseau believed that all individuals diagnosed with cancer should be afforded access to integrative medicine and therapies such as healing touch, massage therapy, yoga, and nutritional and psychosocial counseling.
Traditionally, insurance companies either do not reimburse for these therapies or provide inadequate reimbursement. These modalities provided Karen with comfort and support as she lived with breast cancer.
Karen passed away in 2005 at the age of 38 leaving behind not only two young boys and a loving husband, but family and friends who have dedicated themselves to achieving her vision. We have raised more than $550,000 dollars to directly benefit patients at the Cancer Treatment Center.
